GOOD MORNING!!!

You know those defining moments that change you for the rest
of eternity! Well, one of those moments happened. Guadalupe Flores or as we
know him BooBoo got baptized on saturday. It was probably one of the most
amazing moments of my life. BooBoo has been taking the missionary discussions
since he married his wife 8 years ago. In fact we have his teaching record for
all 8 years. That's four pages of lessons and trying to help him understand the
importance of baptism. Of course he wasn't actively taking the lessons all four
years but all of those missionaries who tried to get him to progress planted
lots of seeds. Sister Walker and I were the first Sister Missionaries to teach
him though... he told us that some of the things we said made him really think
about the gospel and getting baptized. I also think it has something to do with
the fact that he lives in a house full of girls and we happen to fall into a
soft spot of his heart. Getting him to commit to a baptismal date was most
definitely combined effort from the whole ward, and they showed their love by
coming to his baptism. Over 90 people came to his baptism- SO AMAZING! You
could just feel the warmth from all the love that came from everyone in the
ward and all the missionaries that came!!!
This is why I am on a mission!!!! :)
I don't know if I'll ever have such a great baptism ever
again but it doesn't matter because it was all worth it. BooBoo will be able to
be sealed to his family for time and all eternity! The gospel blesses our lives
so much and I am so grateful to be able to share it with people!!!
We have a few progressing investigators-
Lissa- she absolutely loves to read the Book of Mormon and
always has good questions to ask us when we have lessons. In fact we she has so
many questions that we don't have time to go over what we wanted to talk about.
She's amazing!

Bridget- We found Bridget at the Park the very first week of
the transfer and we've had 4 lessons with her since then. It's kinda hard to
set up lessons because her husband isn't interested but she loves it when we
come over. Whenever we testify of a principle and ask her what she thinks about
it she says "well, that sounds right and I feel like I knew that
already." Umm yes Bridget you knew about this plan before we came to earth
and that's why it sounds so familiar.
Courtney- She is 14 years old and has been coming to church
for a couple months but we haven't known what to do with her since she lives in
the next ward over... but finally she came up and asked if she could get baptized
by the end of the school year. Kinda hard to ignore a request like that. So
basically we're poaching from Florence 1st ward but she refuses to go to that
ward. She likes our ward too much. So that's that.
So I came out with 4 other sisters in November and we were
super close in the MTC but 2 of those missionaries have gone home.. So there's
only three of us left. The Elders we came out with are making bets on who's
going to be next. I know it won't be me so no worries there but it's sad how many
missionaries end up going home. YOU CAN DO IT, JUST KEEP PROSELYTING!
Transfer calls are supposed to be today but they haven't
come yet. So we're thinking that President is changing a lot of things... we'll
see tho.
Have a great week!!!!! :)
Send my love to all my siblings!!!
LOVE,
Sister Raubie
